Professionally Speaking

Before opening my private practice, I worked in community mental health, supporting individuals and families navigating trauma, addiction, and abuse. I was part of a therapeutic team providing care for children in emergency shelters, and that early work taught me how resilient people are—even in their most vulnerable moments.

Ongoing learning is essential to my practice. I stay current on the latest in couples therapy through workshops, trainings, and supervision. As a clinician, I’m always evolving—because the people I serve deserve nothing less.

Personally Speaking

I know what it’s like to be on the other side of the therapy room.

When I was a teenager, my parents divorced—and everything I thought I knew about family changed overnight. Like so many children, I didn’t choose the divorce, but I had to adjust to its ripple effects: stepparents, new homes, redefined boundaries, and a deep sense of loss. Therapy helped me make sense of it. That early experience planted the seed for the work I do now. And in a beautiful twist of fate, I now see clients in the very same office building where I once sat as a client myself.

It’s because of this full-circle experience that I never forget the courage it takes to walk through the door. I hold that courage with reverence.

One quote that guides me:

“The quality of our relationships determines the quality of our life.”

Our ability to love well—through conflict, change, and uncertainty—is what makes life meaningful.

My Office in Naples, Florida

My office is nestled in the heart of Naples, just minutes from sugar-sand beaches, the famous Naples Pier, and the tranquil Gulf of Mexico. Naples is serene, elegant, and quietly luxurious—an ideal setting for couples to slow down, reconnect, and do deep emotional work.

Inside, my office feels like a cozy living room. It’s private, warm, and designed to help couples feel comfortable enough to open up and be real.

Outside? You’ll find sunsets over the water, quiet walking paths, and the kind of peace that only the ocean can offer.

Life with Animals

I’m the daughter of a veterinarian, which might explain why our childhood home felt more like a zoo than a house. Dogs, cats, turtles, birds, snakes (yes, snakes), and even geckos and frogs—if it had a heartbeat, it probably lived with us at some point.

Today, I share my home with three beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniels—Henry, Charlotte, and Frances Bean. They bring joy, chaos, and a lot of dog hair. One of my favorite books is Dogs Don’t Bite When a Growl Will Do, a wise and witty reminder that our pets often model the kind of relational skills we humans aspire to.

Hobbies & Passions

When I’m not working, you’ll often find me on the beach collecting seashells or tucked into a sunroom with a good book and an iced coffee in hand. I love authors like Pema Chödrön, Eckhart Tolle, Brené Brown, Esther Perel, and Harriet Lerner—writers who help us sit with life’s messiness and beauty.

I practice yoga, mindfulness, and meditation, not just for myself but because I believe that knowing ourselves is essential to loving well. The same is true in couples therapy. You must know who you are—before you can truly know each other.

I also love to travel. Some of the best adventures come from making no plans at all.

What It’s Like to Work With Me

Clients describe me as compassionate, steady, and deeply present. I’m not here to take sides. I’m here to help both of you feel seen and supported, while also helping you shift the dynamics that no longer serve you.

You may come in feeling disconnected—but you’re not broken. You’re tired. You’re stuck. Maybe even scared. But there’s strength here too. Together, we’ll help you remember that.
